What is an Infared Sauna?
The HaloIR Sauna is much different than the traditional sauna most people have experienced. Our 3 in 1 HaloIR Sauna works from the inside out! It raises the core body temperature, similar to a low grade fever, allowing the body to gently detox and burn off unwanted toxins. Add Chromotherapy and Salt infused air, and you have an environment that can restore, renew and revive you while you relax. As the body cools off the heart rate is increased much like a moderate type of exercise, creating proper blood flow and oxygen through the body.

What to Expect:
-
You may want to wear loose clothing to your appointment to change into after your session.
-
Upon your arrival you will check in at the front desk. If this is your first visit, you will be asked to fill out our waiver for this service if you haven't already filled one out online.
-
Once you are checked in make sure you use the restroom before entering the sauna room.
-
The front desk coordinator will escort you to the sauna room and provide you with water, a towel and a wrap.
-
She will give you instructions on the operations of the sauna. You will choose which protocol you prefer which determines the length of time of your session.
-
After your session you will want to use the body wipe provided. Note: wait 30-60 minutes before showering after you complete your sauna as the body will continue to release toxins even after it is complete.
-
Dress and leave your wrap and towel in the hamper located in the room.
-
Check out and schedule your next appointment at the front desk
-
Don't forget to drink plenty of water! One can also bring water into the sauna, especially if they are sensitive to higher heat.
-
Length of time. The suggested time is 20 to 45 minutes depending on the temperature.
-
Infrared sauna treatments recommend using the sauna three to four days per week. If you are healthy and tolerate the four days, you can use the sauna daily.

What is a Chromotherapy?
Chromotherapy sauna benefits include physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing.

The medicinal qualities of Chromotherapy are historically rooted in benefiting physical, emotional and spiritual stress. Chromotherapy is the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Each color possesses frequencies of a specific vibration, and each vibration is related to different physical symptoms.
Our bodies need the sun’s light to live. And that light can actually be broken down into a seven color spectrum. An imbalance of any of those colors can manifest itself in physical and mental symptoms. Color therapy works on various energy points to help balance your body via the full spectrum of visible light, each color addressing a distinct need.
Color and light have been utilized by healers for thousands of years. Color therapy possibly has roots in Indian medicine (Ayurveda), ancient Egyptian culture and traditional Chinese healing.

Alternative medicine practitioners who use chromotherapy often relate the seven colors of the color spectrum to specific body areas.
